April 2006 Minutes

The meeting was called to order by Todd-KI4DFC ay 7 PM

The minutes of the March meeting were read and approved as read.

The Treasurers report was read and approved as read.

PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

The President Todd-KI4DFC had nothing to report.

VICE-PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

The vive-president, Buck-K4HKR reported that New Brockton is dead.

PIO'S REPORT:

The PIO Glenn-KD4FNI had nothing to report.

REPEATER COMMITTEE:

Jerry-N4RYC reported that all equipment was working well.

OLD BUSINESS:

The site cleanup took place as scheduled with Tom-WA4YQY, Todd-KI4DFC, 
Bob-WA4GIU, Jerry-N4RYC, Rick- N4JAG and Glenn-KA4FNI participating.  All 
debres removed from underneath the guy wires and the shack straightened up.

There was a discussion about the tone on the repeater but it would remain 
on.

The Mobile hamfest coming up this weekend.

NEW BUSINESS:

Buck-K4HKR stated that the State EMA directors would operate official 
shelters and feeding stations at Community Colleges.

Jim-KL0LN has talked to John Tallas-EMA Director for Coffee County and we 
can use the old tower for any antennas that we need.
