February 2007 Minutes

The meeting was called to order by Todd- KI4dfc at 7 PM.

Introductions were made by all present.

The minutes of the January meeting were read and approved as read.

The Treasurer's report was read and approved as read.

PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

Todd welcomed all present.

VICE-PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

Buck-K4HKR read a portion of an article regarding HDTV and antennas.

EC'S REPORT:

Jim - KL0LN stated that he had talked to John Tallas, Coffee County 
Emergency Management Director and Kenneth Boswell, Mayor of Enterprise 
regarding equipment for the city.  John stated that if the city would write 
up a grant , he would forward it higher.  He had informed the Mayor about 
grants that could be applied for.

Jim has scheduled a meeting with the Mayor for 6 March.

Jim will check with J & J about the antennas at EMA.

REPEATER COMMITTEE:

Jerry - N4RYC reported that all club equipment is working well.

OLD BUSINESS:

There was no old business.

NEW BUSINESS:

Todd reported that there would be the AL QSO party the first weekend in 
June.

Dothan will host a tailgate party in Headland in April. Date to be announced 
later.

Jerry briefed on the for sale list that the club has.

Carl Rippe - KC4FLT submitted an application for membership.  His membership 
was approved by all present.
