January 2008 Minutes

The meeting was called to order by President Todd- KI4DFC at 7 P M on the 
17th.


Introductions of all present were made.

The minutes of the November meeting were read and approved as read.  There 
was no December meeting due to the Christmas dinner.

The Treasurer's report was read and approved as read.

PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

Todd welcomed all present and encouraged all to seek new members.

VICE PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

Buck - K4HKR had nothing to report.

EC'S REPORT:

Jim - KL0LN stated that the City of Enterprise has decided that the only 
D-Dtars equipment that would need is 1 mobile/base and 2 handi talkies.

Larry with the Southern Baptist would look into putting a D-Stars repeater 
in this area.

REPEATER COMMITTEE:

Jerry - N4RYC informed all that the new repeater was being programmed and 
should be up this month.

All other equipment is working well.

PIO:

KL0LN had nothing to report.

OLD BUSINESS:

N4RYC  reported that there were 31 attendees at the Christmas dinner.

John Hendrix - KJ4BCF was accepted as a new member.

Announcement was made that there would be a Fox Hunt in Dothan Saturday the 
19th.

The Greenville Hamfest will be on 29 January.

CLOSING:

There being no further business, the meeting was closed at 7:25 P. M.
