March 2006 Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 7:03 PM by Todd-KI4DFC.

The minutes of the January and February meetings were read and approved as
read.

The treasurers report was read and approved as read.

PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

The president Todd-KI4DFC had nothing to report.

VICE-PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

The vice-president Buck-K4HKR was absent.

PIO:

The PIO Glenn-KD4FNI had nothing to report.

REPEATER COMMITTEE:

Jerry-N4RYC reported that the repeater and both APRS digis are working well.

OLD BUSINESS:

There was no old business.

NEW BUSINESS:

Todd-KI4DFC announced the AL QSO party that is to take place on 29 and 30
April.

Todd-KI4DFC announced that Field Day will be on 24 and 25 June this year.

The application for membership of Lee Rykard-KI4NYU was accepted.

The dates for the Ft Walton and Mobile hamfests were announced.

The Rattlesnake Expo in Dothan will be held this weekend.

Todd-KI4DFC announced that a cleanup party will be held this Saturday at the
repeater site at 9 AM.

NEW BUSINESS cont:

A discussion was held regarding the remaining antenna work for the Red Cross
shelters.  Jerry-N4RYC will try to get them scheduled.

Tom-WA4WQT will see if he can set up a tour of the new CSC simulator
facility in Daleville following April's meeting.

CLOSING:

Following introductions, the meeting was adjourned at 7:33 PM.
