March 2008 Minutes

The meeting was called to order b President Jim- KL0LN at 7 PM on the 20th.

Introductions were made.

The minutes of the February meeting were read and approved as read.

The Treasurer's report was read and approved as read.

PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

Jim had nothing to report.

VICE- PRESIDENT'S REPORT:

Buck- K4HKR was absent.

EC'S REPORT:

Jim reported that the new mobile rig is set up at the EMA office on a 
temporary method.  He is still trying to learn the programming on the HT's.  
There will be another meeting about Bama Jam next month.

REPEATER COMMITTEE:

Jerry- N4RYC stated that all equipment is up and running and that the new 
repeater has been installed and is working well.

PIO:

Jim had nothing to report and is seeking someone to take that job.

OLD BUSINESS:

Larry- AJ4GA stated that he had attended the Falling Waters Swapmeet and 
that there were about 200 people there.  Jerry told of the APRS presentation 
at the Dothan club March meeting.

NEW BUSINESS:

Jim informed all that the Milton and Pace Florida hamfests are upcoming.
Jim also read the schedule od Baptist disaster training that is upcoming.

Carl- KC4FLT explained the Special Event station that he is setting up for 
12 April in honor of the 25th anniversary of Army Aviation Branch.

CLOSING:

There being no further business, the meeting was closed at 7:30 PM.
