The minutes of the October meeting were read and accepted as read. The Treasurer's report was read and accepted as read. PRESIDENT'S REPORT: Jim reported the following: No one at ARRL knows where the radios at Montgomery Red Cross office went. A list of equipment needed to get Coffee County EMA back on the air was sent to John Tallas EMA Director and then forwarded to the State EMA for action. The total dollar amount was approximately $4000. He has heard nothing from the Firefighters Association about the radios in their trailer. VICE-PRESIDENT'S REPORT: The vice-president was absent. REPEATER COMMITTEE The Mark IV is down again and the Port-A-Peater is back on the air. We need another radio for the APRS station at the repeater site. A discussion was conducted about the Mark IV. Tom will check out the power supply and possibly a new controller. Duanne may have a CAT 1000. NEW BUSINESS Both Al Drummond-KA7RWT and James Davis-AC0CW were accepted as members. The slate of officers for the following year were voted on and elected. A motion was approved to pay postage up to $70 for mailing a letter to all area HAMS announcing the Christmas dinner. OLD BUSINESS Since there was no meeting in October there was no Old Business. NEW PRESIDENT Todd- KI4DFC announced that his desires for the next year are 1: Getting the 440 repeater on the air. 2: Getting an APRS i-Gate on the internet. There is to be an antenna party at the Red Cross headquarters on Sunday the 20th. CLOSING Introductions were made and the meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM. Dinner to be at Po Folks.
