The minutes of the September meeting were read. The treasurers report of a balance of $993 was read. PRESIDENT'S REPORT: Jim reported the following: The ARRL desk at the Red Cross office in Montgomery has been shut down. It appears that all the radio gear that was at Montgomery has been sent to the ARRL. The amateur support to the Salvation Army during and after Katrina and Rita. The meeting with Coffee County EMA Director John Tallas. That he will meet with the Coffee County Firefighters Association at their next meeting regarding the radios in their command trailer to be used at the EMA office. VICE-PRESIDENT'S REPORT: The Vice-President was absent. REPEATER COMMITTEE: The repeater and both APRS stations are working fine. PIO: The PIO was absent. OLD/NEW BUSINESS: Due to no official meeting, no business was conducted. DISCUSSION: There was a discussion as to where the hardline is for the new antenna. Tom has an unknown length at his house and a similar piece at Duanne's. The upcoming Christmas dinner was discussed with all asked to pass the word to all known Hams in the area.
