Oooops!

Your previously-reliable newsletter editor really dropped the ball this month and totally forgot about getting a newsletter out by the April 15th EARS meeting.

When prompted for an explanation, the oversized excuse-maker provided quite a handful of stories:

  • My dog Clutch ate the whole newsletter!
  • That IRS guy wouldn't get off my front porch!
  • Art Bell and George Noory had me too scared!
  • That "FORMAT C:" thingie was not a good idea!
  • Rick, N4JAG. Yeah, that's it. I blame Rick!

We Have a Volunteer!

Ken Arnold, KG4VBM, has graciously volunteered (aka, coerced according to standard EARS protocol) to fill the post of Public Information Officer. The PIO position was previously held by Jim/KLØLN but became OPEN when he took over as President last fall.

We Have More Volunteers!

Special EARS thanks to club members Tom/WA4YQT and Ken/KG4VBM as well as non-member Bob/WA4GIU for their efforts in cleaning up the trees and brush around the repeater site several weeks ago.

Hopefully, more volunteers can be found next time ... and hopefully a site cleanup can be performed more often!
