The EARS Annual Christmas dinner will be held at Po Folks on the circle in Enterprise beginning at 7:00pm on Friday, December 17th. Please arrive around 6:30pm for socializing prior to dinner. The menu will be similar to last year - fried turkey, ham, and all the usual trimmings. The price is the same as last year ... $12.00 per person (tip included). Note that our Christmas Dinner is not just for EARS members, but also for all local area hams and their families. Please make sure you inform Rick/N4JAG as soon as possible on whether you will be attending this year's Christmas Event!

This issue of the EARS newsletter includes a new method of informing members on payment of club dues. This change will help ease the monthly burden on your old-n-grumpy newsletter editor by allowing a more automated method of publishing and distributing. If you get your newsletter via Email, the subject line includes the month when you are scheduled to pay dues. If you get your newsletter via postal mail, your address label includes the month when you are scheduled to pay dues. After you are three months overdue, you will most likely be dropped from the active roster by your old-n-grumpy secretary/treasurer. If you can't attend a meeting, please mail your check (payable to EARS) to the club address shown on page 1 of this newsletter.
