The International Space Station Expedition 9 crew paid tribute to former President Ronald Reagan June 10th. Astronaut Mike Fincke, KE5AIT, and cosmonaut Gennady Padalka, RN3DT, rang the ISS ship's bell 40 times to commemorate the nation's 40th chief executive.

The Boll Weevil Net meets every Tuesday evening at 8:00pm on the 147.24+ repeater frequency. Recent activity has been as follows:

Be sure to attend the June EARS meeting as plans for Field Day 2004 are firmed up. Field Day is the weekend of June 26-27 and the EARS location is the same as last year ... Johnny Henderson Family Park off Highway 167 North in Enterprise. Setup begins around 9:00am Saturday morning with a dinner cookout around 6:00pm Saturday evening.
The Milton Amateur Radio Club 9th Annual Hamfest is July 23-24 at the Santa Rosa County Auditorium in Milton, Florida. More Info: home.att.net/~k4ozl/marc.htm The infamous Huntsville Hamfest is August 21-22 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama. More Info: www.hamfest.org |
