Exams are given after each monthly EARS meeting (except December). Contact Tom/WA4YQT at 763-0532 at least 24 hours in advance to schedule.
Please check your Email subject line or postal mailing label to see when you are scheduled to pay dues. After you are three months overdue, you will be dropped from the roster. If you can't attend a meeting, mail your check (payable to EARS) to the club address shown above. Member dues are $20.00 ($5.00 Associate) per year. |
October's EARS meeting will include election of officers for the coming year. Nominees are as follows:
Article II of our Constitution provides that officers be elected for a term of one year by ballot of the members present, provided there be a quorum, at the regular meeting in October. In case there is not a quorum at the October meeting, all members not present and able to vote will automatically enter an absentee vote of YES for all positions unless said member has notified any currently elected officer in advance of the October meeting that he/she desires to vote NO. Justin/KG4VBK will continue as EARSweb.com webmaster. Gary/K4EXT has resigned (effective with this October issue) as newsletter editor.
The EARS Annual Christmas dinner will be held at Po Folks on the circle in Enterprise beginning at 6:30pm on Friday, December 16th. The menu will be Holiday Fare and priced similar to last year. Please RSVP to Jerry/N4RYC as soon as possible. Note that our Christmas Dinner is not just for EARS members, but also for all local area hams and their families.
