Member Dues Check

Please check your Email subject line or postal mailing label to see when you are scheduled to pay dues. After you are three months overdue, you will be dropped from the roster. If you can't attend a meeting, mail your check (payable to EARS) to the club address shown above. Member dues are $20.00 ($5.00 Associate) per year.

Election Time

The October EARS meeting will include election of officers for the coming year. Candidates and/or draftees will be announced in the October newsletter.

If you want to nominate someone, or if you want to serve as a real live officer for the coming year, please let Rick/N4JAG or Jerry/N4RYC know ASAP.

Note that Justin/KG4VBK has agreed to continue as EARS webmaster (which is not an elected officer position).

Editor Resignation de Gary/K4EXT

After 3 years as your newsletter editor, I have decided to end my reign with next month's October 2005 issue.

In all honesty, I've lost interest in doing the newsletter anymore. Add to that a handful of health issues, and it's simply the right time for me to call it quits.

My personal opinion is that a monthly newsletter is not really needed anymore since the EARSweb.com web site is perfectly suited for presenting timely news to folks. But I leave that decision in the hands of EARS voting members.
