The August meeting of the Enterprise Amateur Radio Society
will be held at 7:00 PM on the 17th in room S-100 of
Enterprise State Junior College

Please remember that after you are three months overdue, you will 
be dropped from the club roster. If you can't attend a meeting, 
please mail your check, payable to EARS, to the club address.

Attached is a list of items for sale from the estate of 
KC4CMH that Jim (KA4AFI) has for sale. He is going to take 
these items to the Huntsville Hamfest on the 19th. If you 
are interested, contact Jim.

DIGITAL CONFERENCE

The Southeastern Division is proud to host the 19th 
annual ARRL and TAPR Digital Communications Conference, 
September 22-24, 2000 in Orlando. Here is some information 
about the event, which is an international forum for hams 
in digital communications, networking, and related 
technologies. Everyone has the opportunity to exchange ideas 
and learn about recent hardware and software advances, 
theories, experimental results, and practical applications. 
The Digital Communications Conference is not just for the
digital expert, but also for digitally oriented amateurs of 
all levels of experience. An entire series of sessions with 
beginning, intermediate, and advanced presentations on 
selected topics in digital communications will be offered. 
Some of the topics will include: APRS, Satellite Communications,
TCP/IP, Digital Radio, Spread Spectrum and other introductory 
topics. I hope that you can attend!

BREAKFAST

Remember breakfast at Dottie's in Enterprise and Ann's
in Ozark on Saturday mornings. Enterprise is at 7AM
and Ozark is at 8AM. Come by and have an enjoyable
visit with the local HAMS.

Jerry has sent that list of equipment from the estate sale of
KC4CMH. I've attached it here. I'm afraid it looks fine on
his screen but loses something in the translation. If you
can't make heads or tails out of it (like me), give KA4AFI a 
call - he has the original.

Club meeting in a couple of days and the Huntsville Hamfest
is this weekend. Hope to see some of you at one or both.
