The writer is Jack Dohme, W0PKM, and is listed on your roster. "I have a question regarding my antique ham gear. Now that I've retired, we've listed our house for sale and we're moving some things to our lake house in NW Alabama but we're also getting ready to build our retirement home in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. I have a Heathkit SB-102 with SB-600 PS and an amplified Shure desk mic. The last time I tried it, it worked okay on 75 phone...talking with old friends on the 3913 net. I also have an HW-7 QRP rig with mods and also a couple antennas. There's a Ringo Ranger out there and also a Mosely TA-33 Jr. which is not assembled. At one time, I had factory parts for the Mosely but don't know if I could find that stuff any more. Would anybody have any interest in that old stuff? I would like to trade it all for something else of little value...like maybe an H/T. If there's a new ham in the club with a license and some ability but no money...like a youngster perhaps...I would donate the stuff if I got a receipt for tax purposes. Do you have any suggestions? List the stuff in the newsletter? Any ideas you might have would be appreciated. 73, Jack" W0PKM BREAKFAST Remember breakfast at Dottie's in Enterprise and Ann's in Ozark on Saturday mornings. Enterprise is at 7AM and Ozark is at 8AM. Come by and have an enjoyable visit with the local HAMS. Jerry - N4RYC -------------------------------------------- Electronic Edition: Please change the e-mail address for WB4YSJ to: jrlittle@bigfoot.com George (N1GK) and Carolyn (KE4ITT) send their regards. They're on Cape Bretton Island, Nova Scotia, about six weeks into their trip and doing well. They'll be back in about a month. Those of you that didn't make it to our Field Day cookout, missed a good time. Good company, good food, good weather - well - most of the time. Special thanks to Duane and Jo for hosting, to Tom for doing most of the cooking, and to everyone else who brought something, did something, or just showed up! Buck, K4HKR, has a bunch of 5 1/4" disks that he'd like to get rid of. (Hmmm... come to think of it, so do I!) If you know of a good use for them or would like to have them, drop Buck or I a note. Nothing much else going on that I know of. If you know of anything that ought to be in our newsletter, be sure to let Jerry know. CU on the radio 73 N4JAG Rick The truth is out there.
