PACKET RACKET As you probably know, the RF port on the Enterprise packet BBS is still down. We do, however, have a new BBS up at the Dale County EMA office in Ozark. Connect to K4OZK-10 or OZKBBS on 145.67 MHz and you'll have the same privileges you had at Enterprise BBS. This BBS also has a direct connect to the Internet, compliments of the Dale County EMA Director, Gerald McDaniel, K1EMA, and Snowhill Internet Services In Ozark. Special thanks to Bob Monk, WA4GIU, who has spent a lot of time in getting it set up for us. The BBS at ESJC is still operational, but only on the Internet side. You can telnet between the two, if you need to. From the Ozark BBS just type "ENTBBS" and you'll be connected to Enterprise. We would still like to get the RF port at Enterprise back up, and may be calling out a work party in the near future. MEETING ROOM Due to maintenance work being done at ESJC, the June meeting will again be held upstairs, room 204, in the main Administration Building at ESJC. The Admin building is the large two-story building you face as turn onto the campus. I'm not sure if the July meeting will also be held here - watch the newsletter. de N4JAG FIELD DAY We again will conduct Field Day activities at the QTH of WA4WQW. We will begin gathering about noon and eat somewhere around 4PM. Come join in the fun. If you plan on attending, please let a club officer know soon.
