Please remember that after you are three months overdue, you
will be dropped from the club roster. If you can't attend a
meeting, please mail your check, payable to EARS, to the club

PACKET RACKET 

As some of you probably know, the RF port on the packet BBS
is down. Due to some technical restructuring at our host
location (ESJC) we had to move all of our equipment into another
building. All, that is, except the antenna. They are also
going to be constructing new roofs on the buildings, and this
might require us to erect a tower on which to locate the
antenna. (If ESJC will approve that.) It has already
necessitated a $100 payment for establishing a network drop to
continue our internet connection. If you would care to donate -
money, time, tower sections, whatever - please feel free to do
so. (We can certainly use the money.) I'll keep you posted as
the situation progresses. de N4JAG



ARES CARDS

I am still making new Coffee County ARES cards which will expire
in the year 2004. If you can e-mail me a digital photo of
yourself, I'll print it on the card and return the whole thing
to you. If you don't have one, but you can attend the March
meeting, I will take a photo of you then. If you're not a member
of ARES, just drop me a note and I'll take care of it. You don't
need to be a member of ARRL, or even EARS, just have a
willingness to help if needed. de N4JAG



BREAKFAST

Each Saturday morning, a group of area HAMS meet at Dotties'
Country Kitchen on North Main Street in Enterprise, for
breakfast and fellowship. Come by and have some good food, or
just coffee, and a good time. We start meeting about 7AM. See
you there.

Say that is too early? How about Ann's on 231 South in Ozark
at 8 AM. An even bigger group meets there. Jerry- N4RYC
