-- PACKET RACKET --

The two X1J Packet Nodes at Victoria are finally back up.
They went down in November of '97 due to lightning and it
took this long for Alinco to get the rigs back to me. On
the LAN of 145.67 is EARS (WD4ROJ-2). This node can be
used to communicate with the ENTBBS. On 145.09 is EARS1
(WD4ROJ-1). This node will be used to communicate with
Troy and other points north and east, as well as EARS if
desired, because the two nodes are tied together, just as
before. The digipeater function of both nodes has been
turned off - they can be used as nodes only, not digi's.

-- BREAKFAST --

Have nothing better to do on a Saturday morning than sleep?
Well, get your lazy butt up and come to breakfast! We show
up around 7 AM at Dottie's Country Kitchen on North Main
Street in Enterprise for breakfast or just coffee or even
just a good time talking. If 7 is too early, try 8 AM at
Ann's just off of Hwy 231 in Ozark. Same idea: good food
and fellowship.


At the meeting this month: A demonstration of APRS
and we'll be discussing Field Day in June and we'd like 
your input. This month's abbreviated newsletter by 
N4JAG. CU on the radio.

I did the newsletter this month because N4RYC is
still having intermittent trouble with his computer.
I'm sure we all hope he gets his problems solved
soon. (Especially me. I don't want to do the
whole newsletter again.)

Since it would be almost impossible for me to format a
club roster that would look proper to everyone on this
list - Juno, Outlook Express, Netscape, Eudora, etc. -
I decided to mail you a copy of the roster via "snail
mail" (US Postal Service). It ought to be arriving in a
few days. Also, rather than just use a blank piece of 
paper for the address label, stamp, etc., I decided to 
just send you the whole newsletter. Not bad - two for 
the price of one! I am also including a current copy 
of the e-mail roster below. Wow - three!
