Saturday morning breakfasts at Dottie's in Enterprise at 7 AM and at Ann's in Ozark at 8 AM. Wednesday lunches at the Deli in Daleville at 11:00. Amateur Exams following EARS meetings. Contact Tom, WA4YQT, at 464-0532 at least 24 hours in advance to schedule a test. (No testing in December due to our annual dinner.) ROSTER UPDATE - - Please drop KF4WWA from your roster. CHRISTMAS DINNER - - On Friday the 15th of December, the Enterprise Amateur Radio Society (EARS) will host it's annual Christmas Dinner. The dinner will held at the VFW club in Daleville at 7 PM with the dining room available at 6:30 PM for gathering. The dinner is open to all Hams in the area and not limited to EARS members. Please invite others so that we may have a large turnout. You may contact either Jerry (N4RYC) 347-4650 or Rick (N4JAG) 347-6178, or on the repeater, to make your reservation. The final date for reservations is 1 December. The cost of the dinner is $12 per person and includes the dinner and all gratuities and should be paid by 1 December. The payment can be made to either Jerry or Rick . Wine and other beverages will be available for those that desire them, however if you are not a member of the VFW, you must sign-in as a guest, A sign-in sheet will be available in the dining room. Our menu is for a buffet dinner and includes the following items: Ham Turkey Baked, Smoked and Fried Dressing Giblet Gravy Salad Mashed Potatoes Sweet Potatoes Green Beans Rolls & Butter Deserts Cakes and Pies Drinks Coffee & Tea I have been told by several people that the VFW presents a very fine dinner and hope that you all come and enjoy a fine dinner. And if you've never had fried turkey, you need to come to the dinner for that reason alone. Please spread the word to the Hams in the area. The dress is casual, although some do wear ties. Nothing fancy. This is a great time to get to see some of the club members and local area Hams that you don't see the rest of the year. Please try to be there, and most important, please let Jerry or myself know as soon as possible. The 57th Annual National Peanut Festival is over for another year. Thanks to all those that helped out in any way. Our Presidential election is over for another four years. Oh. - - - Wait a second. - - - No it's not. What a joke! We are still having Saturday morning breakfasts in Enterprise and Ozark. I haven't made many of them lately because I'm frequently working on Saturdays. In Enterprise, 7 AM at Dottie's on North Main.
