The candidates will be announced at this (Sep) meeting and in the October newsletter. If you would like to nominate someone, or better yet, serve in an office, let N4JAG know prior to this month's meeting. Or, show up at the meeting and nominate them then. We need a quorum. We were planning to hold this month's meeting at Po Folks - dinner at 6, meeting at 7. Unfortunately someone else already had the room reserved for that night. We can try again next month if that's what everyone wants to do. We also need to be thinking about the date for our Christmas dinner and get our reservation in quickly. Our 2-m repeater, APRS stations and the BBS are all working fine. I'll have some info at this meeting about our UHF repeater. If you have any input for the newsletter please send it to N4RYC at least eight days prior to the meeting. Operating tips, sale items, whatever. This is your newsletter - contribute. You should also try to make one of the local breakfast meetings on Saturday. Hopefully Jerry, our regular newsletter editor, will be back next month. 73 N4JAG
